I am still on iOS 14.8 and have not updated to iOS 14.8.1
When iOS 15.1 was the latest non-beta release, you can still either update to iOS 14.8.1 or go with iOS 15.1 but with iOS 15.2 now released, the option for iOS 14.8.1 is gone...

Not at all. this is a new cheaper tier for Apple Music sucpbcriptions that only allows one to control the songs using Siri (e.g. No visual interface to choose music)
They are definitely going to turn on CSAM soon. They just delayed it so that the backlash would die down, and it already has. And then they will turn it on "quietly" as tech sites so often describe how Apple do certain things.

The battery of my iPhone XR dropped from 75% to 10%, before and after this 15.2 update. Make sure you’ve charged your phone or plug in.
I'm currently on RC1 19C56 and Software Update is not detecting the newer 19C57 build for some reason.

There isn’t a obligation to uodate. Nevertheless I don’t see the point to wait so long.
I dont see it and im on RC1 on my 11, I guess its different builda on different phones
19C56 is also listed as a production build, going to guess that's for slightly older phones.
