Interesting that these build numbers are lower than the previous betas

macOS Big Sur 11.7.6 beta 1 build 20G1329

and

macOS Monterey 12.6.5 beta 1 build 21G630

Usually the public release have higher builds than the betas that came before it.

If you installed these betas you can’t get the new ones with lower builds unless you use the full installers.
That's interesting, AppleSeed doesn't mention anything older than macOS Ventura these days.

Okay I just ran software update on the Early 2014 MacBook Air (pointing to the customer seed catalog) and it received 11.7.6 (20G1329) without any beta branding. I assume it's similar case for macOS Monterey.

The 15.x updates are only for devices which do not support 16.x.
It’s a security update for devices that weren't able to update to iOS 16 (so iPhone 6s, 6s+, 7, 7+ & 1st gen SE, 7th gen iPod Touch, iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 4). If you can update to 16.4.1 then this won’t be available to you.
Yeah, do you not see my point though, I"ve held out updating to 16 for a specific reason, but in the name of security I'm being forced to update, just imagine if this happened on MacOS, there'd be mass outrage.

Ever since I installed the update on my MBP-15 late 2013 with Big Sur, the mixer at the nightclub where I work no longer connects to the computer! It's a Pioneer DJM 900 NXS with embedded audio interface and requires drivers. Did this update mess up with the drivers? Have you experienced anything similar?
