No.Does this mean we can have new iPads now?
Better late than never lolThe "imminent" update we've been yearning for 😁
Hoping to hear from someone who has a series 4 or newer. Series 3 can't update to Watch OS 10 so I would expect it to work fine.. Watches that can be updated to OS 10 were forced to do so with the 17.4 update..No. I have been using a Series 3 which is stuck on WatchOS 8 for a while now and it works perfectly fine. The only thing I have noticed that doesn't work is the Home app.
It‘s a few hundred when you get the public release, for the beta branches you‘re looking at the usual full install going GBs (just verified myself). It's now available to all users, and is only a few hundred MB.
How much fewer crashes per minute exactly?Downloaded and installed on all of my devices, everything is good so far, appears to be more stable.
macOS still could be coming today, keep in mind that they have released software updates as late as 4 PM Eastern before.I’m not sure but I don’t think they should delay fixes they have for one OS just so they can release them with fixes for a different one. I understand the interest but bug fixes help us as customers regardless of if they chose to prioritize iOS or macOS first
I’m pretty sure it’s only a software update.Anyone know if this update includes battery improvements?
You have a 15 pro max?I don't see anything yet on my 15 Pro Max.
Oh, I didn't think that would be a factor. I assumed that any WatchOS version below the iOS version should work fine.Hoping to hear from someone who has a series 4 or newer. Series 3 can't update to Watch OS 10 so I would expect it to work fine.. Watches that can be updated to OS 10 were forced to do so with the 17.4 update..
I didn't know that. Thanks for letting me know.Well… maybe you can use your series 3 with watchOS 8 and your iPhone on 17.4 because… just like you said - your watch is stuck on watchOS 8?
If you have anything newer than series 3 you are forced to update your watch to watchOS 10.
This one is annoying. I guess I could turn off iCloud tabs till they fix it.Urgh. iCloud tab sync bug still does not appear to be fixed.
Classic case of assuming everybody has the same issue and that it’s a verified bug. Doesn’t feel good to be the only one reporting something because it puts the onus on the user to deal with it.What is that issue?
What battery improvements? Please explain. The vast majority is not having problems with batteries.Anyone know if this update includes battery improvements?
Correct. 412.1 MB and 244.3 MB on my iPhone and iPad respectively. It's only a few hundred MB if you don't have betas enabled.
