Initially I got the verification problem just updating the iPhone (15plus). However, using my mac as you did all went well. Interestingly the update was 8gig and there was a firmware update as well.

I’m glad they fixed the audio app issue. Iphone 15 pro. I just had the phone for 1 day and had audio issues It was just static on recordings and some phone calls. Works good now. Hopefully the battery issue is fixed also. Only lasted 3/4 day on full charged.
Apple today released iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6, the sixth point updates to the iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 operating system updates that came out last year. The iOS and iPadOS 17.6 updates come two months after the debut of iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5.
iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 can be downloaded on eligible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Apple has also released iOS 15.8.3 and iOS 16.7.9 security updates for devices not able to run iOS 17.
There are no notable features in the iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 updates, with Apple adding unspecified bug fixes and security updates. Nothing new was discovered during the beta testing process.
iOS 17.6 and iPadOS 17.6 will likely be some of the last updates that we'll see to iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 aside from ongoing security fixes. Apple is set to release iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 in September.

It is normal for the App Store app after iOS upgrade. It takes a while to refresh the list of apps in which updates are available.
Normally, the list should be longer than that before iOS upgrade.
it is normal that the list is empty after ios upgrade. it takes a while to refresh the list and often the list is longer than before, cos more app updates for latest ios.Update went through without issue but noticed the App Store shows no app update.
mine was empty after the ios upgrade yesterday, waited overnight. in the morning my list counts 30 for now.
So, my battery life is still not good and my iPhone gets hot while doing basic things. How’s 17.6 working for you?
Anyone else experiencing a problem with Siri and WhatsApp
When asking Siri to either send a WhatsApp message or make a call to a WhatsApp contact

WhatsApp contacts access is turned on.
I noticed this problem on the RC version and it's been carried over to the final version.
Both my iPhone and Carplay has this issue.

So far, so good. Back to normal battery life. Only got down to a bit below 50% with heavy use all day. Sorry to hear it's not helped for you.

I like that list because if you swipe right to left you can delete apps off your phone right from the update screen, Have so many apps on my device that are forgotten.
Yes, that's how I tried to do my update, when it failed.
I had to take it to the Apple Store to get it updated properly. They got it working.

All went smooth , I had to pull down to refresh the apps to update. Safari seems a little faster so far
Even when they fixed the Private relay Safari was still having hiccups

Maybe don't use What'sCrapp.
Apple has a much better app called "Messages", or if you need cross platform there's Signal.
In any case, it's probably a F*c*book bug, not an Apple issue. It's better that way, you shouldn't give F*c*book your contact list, you're a privacy risk for everyone you know if you do that. At the very least you should turn contact access off.
Did anyone else have weird problems with Email configuration?
Noticed that my SMTP settings and IMAP settings reverted back to earlier this year, which are incorrect because they changed and I had to update my phone settings well now it’s back to the previous settings. Weird
Also something weird I’ve noticed on all my devices say that I have a new iPad added to my list of devices but I go in and can’t see any new ones.
