no its not. if you are on 18.4 ios dev beta and you turn off the beta updates and when normal version comes, it does not show up. so stop being ignorant and talk bs.
Uh sorry but that’s EXACTLY what I did and it worked, you are the one sounding veeryyy ignorant right now.

iOS 19
Better be the Super Saiyan version of iOS 6 with new design and smoothness.
The reason iOS 6 was so smooth was because of Scott Forstall. Tim Cook has made numerous awful descisions at Apple, and one of his worst decisions was firing Forstall. Since Forstall is not at Apple, there may never be a new iOS which is as smooth and reliable as iOS 6.

As for iOS 19's new design, it's just going to be a variation of flat design, which Apple copied from Microsoft and has been using since iOS 7. The industry-leading user-friendly skeuomorphic design used in iOS 6 was the pinnacle of GUI design, and that was because of Forstall favoring skeuomorphic design, and paying so much attention to detail, that he kept a jeweler's loupe at his desk in order to closely inspect pixels.

Unfortunately it fixes neither CarPlay connection dropping sporadically nor the lost connection of AirTags (reporting forgotten although they sit next to the phone). There is definitely an issue with Bluetooth… it was working fine in 18.3 ..

Brilliant! Email notifications broken again with this update
Updating my SE2 did not break email notifications, but updating my wife's 13 mini did. Both are using Gmail accounts. This doesn't help, but I went through all her mail settings and changed a few to match mine. However, I followed someone else's suggestion and turned off mail notifications, selected sound option, turned notifications back on, and again selected the sound option. Now her mail notifications work. I'd try that suggestion. Good luck!

Edit: Updated iPad 10 to 18.4.1 and cannot get Mail notifications to sound. Have tried all suggestions I could find on here on MR and elsewhere. No joy, and problem was first reported with 18 in December. Where is Apple support?

Still nothing for me. It seems that only Series 10 is affected by this, at least according to the reports I've read. However, there are also reports that version 18.5 finally fixes the issue.
I have S10 and I get the notification – both before and after this update.

Strange. I wonder what the underlying issue is. I restored both my iPhone and my Watch and set them up as new devices without restoring from a backup, but it’s still broken.

I’d like to know which vehicles are in the CarPlay update. I’ve had an Audi A6 for over two years and have always had problems connecting either my IPhone 14 or my 16 Pro to Audi’s MMI via Bluetooth. A service advisor did a work around and CarPlay works with the cars wifi but that is not ideal.
