Is this different than the wi-fi bug I'm having where wi-fi is grayed out no matter what you do and it can't be turned on? And has anyone verified that they had an issue that this fixed?

Just curious, because I'm still being told that my 6.0.1 is still up-to-date.

this happened to my iphone 3g and it turned out that my wifi chip had died..

Sounds like a non-OEM charger.

No, it's the charger that came with my iPhone 5. Whether it's plugged into the wall, or my MacBook, the screen is unresponsive, not consistent, and just generally does weird things. Google it, it's a common problem.

What brand of charger are you using? I ask because uncertified and/or poorly designed power supplies can interfere with an iPhone's touch screen. (Sorry this is OT).

The same one that came with my iPhone 5. It is a very sporadic problem, but it IS real. A google search comes up with many similar issues.

Note: this never happened with my 3gs that I had up until my iPhone 5. But the problem suddenly goes away after I disconnect the charger.

Its not for iPad 4 gen because mine is not getting it. I think its only for Mini and iPhone 5 like the front page says.

I have updated and am still experiencing same Wi-Fi issues with mail. Mail was delivered to me at 2:29PM PST and came up on phone at 3:16PM PST. Not sure what's going on but I might need to format and setup everything again. Maybe I'll wait for 6.1.

I'd take it to an Apple store - that's a defect. I had this issue on my Android phones when I'd connect a crappy charger to it - the touch screen was completely unusable. Bring your charger and iPhone into Apple store and I'm sure they'll either replace the charger or the phone. Interesting!

Just tried it. Not getting an error message but after a while I get a "Connection Lost" message. Not sure what to make of it.

Rebooted my phone and now Facetime over cellular is turned off again and turning it on requires me to change plans. Guess I'll just have to hope for a jb.

Me too.
If we wait for AT&T, forget it:)

I bought the new ipad yesterday
I'm waiting for the update to the new ipad, in app store is full of lag and when I download an app takes forever ..
I hope the update for ipad soon.

I had wifi issues here at home, where in certain rooms, it would not connect at all. That has been fixed now. I'm quite happy.

I never had any problem before using wifi. I downloaded the update no problem today. Since I had less than 50% battery when doing the update I had to plug it in so I let it fully charge. I've noticed since the update, starting with a full charge using wifi that safari seems a lot quicker and my battery seems better on wifi. My usage time 50 mins and just dropped from 100% to 99%

So far so good. This update finally seems to have resolved the most infuriating issue that made my iPhone 5 virtually unusable.
