And also save your shsh blobs for 6.1
If you got to 6.1 using an OTA update do a restore to 6.1

for the heck of it, I may try jailbreaking this go around. Few questions I have:

1) If I saved my blobs on 6.1 after an OTA update (and saved blobs), and then restored from itunes after the fact, are the blobs the same?

2) Is there a way to downgrade with the shsh blobs? I have read mixed things or is the APT tickets the thing that is preventing that?

3) Additionally, I have read some tweaks may cause one to get stuck at the apple boot logo. How do you get around this? Is the only way to fix your phone is to restore and depending on what apple is signing, may have to lose the jailbreak as the restore may update you to 6.1.1 or what not?

1 yes they're the same.
2 you can currently downgrade an i4 with blobs. No solution yet for 4S or i5 models yet.
3 yes if you get stuck you can enter safe mode by holding down the volume up button while the phone reboots. Then go in and remove the faulty package that caused it.

Strange to have another iOS update so soon after 6.1, unless of course this is specifically to break the jailbreak? Apple can't be too please by the millions of people installing the Evasi0n Jailbreak.

Question for this semi experienced and semi-noob jailbreaker (I was jailbroken under 5.1.1 under 4S, but I never went through a new iOS release while jailbroken on an older version since I got an iPhone 5 when iOS 6 came out):

I'm assuming if there is an issue with my phone due to the JB or something else, and I need to restore, I can still restore with 6.1 using a downloaded IPSW and my saved blobs with TU, correct? (Provided I haven't updated to 6.1.1 or anything that comes later). The 'we don't have a solution' part is if you upgrade to 6.1.1, then want to downgrade, correct? I should be able to restore 6.1 as long as I don't upgrade it, correct?
