Judging by how late this update is to the table - there's likely to be an immediate update to the iPhone 7 iOS 10.
Potentially, although it's possible the fixes will be included in the final version of iOS 10.0 which will be getting installed onto the new phones.
The updates may well already be in the latest version of iOS 10, which was pushed out last Friday.
And there's that too.

Oh no. I just read what this update is about. I wonder if I can get these patches while jailbroken on 9.3.3.

Pretty sure I can.

I wonder if this fixes the bug that makes no new innovative features for iOS anymore.
It certainly doesn't seem to have fixed the "bug" with no new innovative comments about iOS.

Well, let's check this out. I usually wait one or two days before installing these things.

OTA stalled here, both on iPhone SE and iPad 2..

I wonder if users wider are used to erratic updates or just find it another annoying pop up message from Apple? Remember the little thing called user experience?
The notification comes and most tap on install and download and off it goes.

But the iPhone 7s that have been manufactured, packaged with iOS 10, and ready for shipping won't have any of that.
Don't think they are quite packaged with iOS 10 just yet, or perhaps just in that process.

What's remarkable and sad is that some still view this as a negative and an opportunity to criticize Apple. Not a shocker I suppose.
It's a matter of working backwards from the end. The obvious correct conclusion is, "Apple is wrong, bad, and DOOOOOMED!!1!", now they just need to find data that can be twisted to support the conclusion (which has already been decreed to be correct). Sorta like the Underpants Gnomes in reverse.

This is just crazy. This isn't what the Apple experience was meant to be about. Users just want to use their devices with little interruption.

I suppose I should roll back from iOS 10 Beta to this huh? How do I do that again?

Hmmm. Really? "pushing forward with more fixes"? What about push forward with a release that doesn't require fixes when released. Isn't this like "a ship with a hole in the bottom, leaking water, and [the] job is to get the ship pointed in the right direction"?

So you know how to write flawless software? You know a company that DOES know how to do this on industrial scale?
No?
So basically your comment is: "Apple should damn well do the impossible"?

Side question: Anybody with insight into Apple, how do they install iOS onto millions of devices, also MacOS onto Macs? That process must take days to complete before packaging the devices.

Fixes to hacks and exploits bring em on Apple. Nice that a company takes my security seriously. I will take all the fixes I can get for hackers trying to steal my info or get into my phone.

It's truely amazing anyone would have anything negative to say about software updates to stay on top of latest hacks. Unless they are the hackers.....Dah.:(

Yep, one those extreme opposite comments to some simple questions...

User Experience does not mean holding off on updates. Them updating quickly to deal with security issues helps the user experience. Having to wait for bug fixes is not a good user experience.
