are you forgetting apple charged FaceTime app for $1.99 or something?
It is already in the accounts book (the iOS/OS X FREE Upgrades).
I can't use upgraded notes without El Capitain? That's awesome except it's NOT OUT YET (not talking public beta).
If only someone invented a way to upgrade individual software items for compatibility... Why is it that every software update with Apple seems to make me think they couldn't find the original engineer that built it and had to rebuild it from the ground up instead of an incremental update.

Just finally updated. No news app and the Siri searches don't have the 'nearby' icons anymore...are they US only features? (Uk here)
WTF are you talking about? I'm done replying to you, lol. And no, that's not in my purchase history. And how does that have anything to do with the OS upgrades being free? Do you even read what you're typing?

I can't believe these comments on free or not free. Either you paid for it at download or you didn't. You pay for the engineering when you buy the hardware. If you don't want the hardware, don't buy it.
Yes the News app is only for the US at the moment - still showing as 'Coming Soon' on the Apple UK website.
It became a discussion because someone doesn't understand English. One of the perks of having a Mac is not having to pay for OS upgrades, unlike Windows.
Just wanted to look on my Mac if the prices for iCloud storage got updated and had to accept a new iCloud license agreement before. Did not read it at all.

It didn't cause mine to fail. My iPhone 6 locked a couple of times without disrupting the update.
Control Center was always lagging on 9.0 GM, not lagging on the official 9.0 release.
I have confirmed that it is not available in the UK (for now). It is automatically installed on devices formatted for the US when the user updates to iOS 9. Bummer...
Apple needed to charge FaceTime App during one of the Mac OS X upgrades (they could not give it to Free in one of the version of Mac OS X).
so all the software upgrades are accounted for.

Is anyone else app store not working right? It says I have updates up when I go to update them it only gives me the option to open the app.
If you "just updated" make sure the phone has been charged since the update. Doing the update, of course, consumes quite a bit of power.
