Hey don't blame the QA testers, that's us public beta folks (apparently)
Oh yes. My fault assuming Apple has dedicated staff for this o_O

I mean is it crazy to assume that for a software like iTunes there is a dedicated test and QA procedure out there already ...

Get your act together :apple: !

iTunes is so non-func tioning that I can only assume there is siddenluy a mechanical fault on the CD input and drive. Given up any hope of burning matrial to CD now. Have tried all the web site hints, but cannot uninstall iTunes and re-nstal or anything else.

Having shuffle be completely broken is laughable. There is another mystery issue where I look at my library by artist, and 7 categories of the exact same artist show up. Having to delete thousands of songs only to paste them back in to "fix" this database error is a joke. It wipes my ratings and play counts, and why duplicate artists show up in the list has never been fully explained to me.

I think massive problems are occurring in the database for iTunes due to old options that used to be available for users that were enabled that were taken away with those options enabled. Seamless playback was an old option that is no longer available. What happens to that option in my database when it was enabled and taken away?
