All the people who just got a shiny new iPhone 3G have the 2.0 firmware.

I now have 2.0 on my original 8GB iPhone and have downloaded a few of the free apps for fun (including PhoneSaber, so I can freak out my wife when I see her later :p )

Side Note: I think I am the first to predict a HUGE number of broken, shattered, or otherwise damaged iPhones from drunk fools swinging their phones around bars, like lightsabers... Stay Tuned!

itunes64setup.exe link

Can someone post a direct link to the Win 64-bit version. iTunes64setup.exe? I have Windows Xp 64 bit and since Apple doesn't support it I have to trick the Vista 64bit version to load. But Apple doesn't give you an option of which version to download so it only gives me the 32-bit version for Win XP. I had a had time getting the 7.6 version to find the right address to the 7.6.2 version. "http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iTunes7/Win/061-4479.20080402.BgbhY/iTunes64Setup.exe". If anyone knows the link to the 7.7 version please post it as it would be very helpful. Or tell my how to find it on Apple site myself.

I have the same issue, need direct link as the download page now automatically choses the 'correct' download for you and as im on xp 64 its offering me the xp 32 download rather than the vista 64 on i want. any ideas??

Downloaded and installed - but every time I launch iTunes, it beachballs for at least 30-45 seconds before it starts to respond.

Pretty lame on an 8-Core Mac Pro.

As excited as I am about the 2.0 firmware, I am absolutely pumped about iTunes 7.7!

New features? Better reliability?

NO!

IT DOESN'T DISABLE MY DVD DRIVE!

Am I the only one who noticed this?

I can't believe Apple finally fixed this for Windows. I have been fighting this for a year - every time I update iTunes, I have to hack the registry and put up with a nag screen telling me that CD burning might not work.

Hooah!

Ps. Please don't flame me for running Vista, I need it for my consulting business. I live on my Mac and mostly use the PC for work.
