nVidia Drivers

Good news, it looks like the nVidia GeForce drivers have been updated from 1.5.28 to 1.5.30.

Edit: looks like 256 color support may be back, anyone have a copy of Starcraft to try out?

same here - I have a 2mb connection. Usually Apple's servers really fly but I guess its just demand and I cant utilise any extra bandwith

d:apple:

Took me less than one minute for the 321 MB file! :D Download only though, I'll wait until tomorrow to do the update just to be safe.

momoe :apple:

Man, I'm still running 10.5.0  Waiting to pick up another ethernet cable before I upgrade; on my wifi connection it might or might not finish downloading before the sun burns out :p

Huh? Apple does make something other than phones - this is a Mac update.

I do believe he was joking...

On another note, the update weighs in at 136 MB on my Mac Pro.

Yep, that's why I'm holding out...Maybe that was implemented but not put on the Release Notes.

well i remember apple saying they were not going to use the word 'push' anymore because of it's connotations with the business community. So the 'push' as we would like it to be might actually be in place

Better iCal and iPhone sync, does this mean we get category colors?:apple::eek:

We already have category colors. This came with iPhone FW 2.0.

No Blu Ray support in 10.5.5. :(
I'm hoping soon to see a MR headline like, "Apple quietly adds Blu Ray support" followed by a story on how a clever coder discovered it, with the explanation that Apple didn't want to reveal it until it had devices with Blu Ray drives ready to ship. Or some such. Ah well...

Done the 136 MB update for my Mac Pro '08 8-Core with nVidia 8800 GT.
After the usual reboot, it rebooted twice before running normally.

BTW.. Mac OS X Server 10.5.5 is out too.
