No problems with this release and Catalina in general so far.

I'm running a 2012 MacBook Pro with an SSD and 16 GB RAM, both newly installed. I'm honestly surprised by how well this machine has been performing ever since I bought it from my brother and upgraded it some weeks ago.

In almost every update there will always be some bugs that seem to be fixed on my Mac although not mentioned by Apple's release notes, some bugs that Apple claims to have fixed but are still there on my Mac, and some new bugs that appear on my Mac although again not mentioned by Apple (obviously they are not going to mention them). The release notes are basically useless (other than feature updates).

Turn on "Do not disturb" 24/7 in notifications to get rid of all the crap.

In MacOS, we need "Toggle to Turn Off Automatic Update Downloads" and "don't remind me toggle" so it does not constantly keep reminding there is an outstanding dot update for the MACOS that I need to update on my Macbook Pro...
If I have a choice, I would update the current version of the last update of the MacOS when in September the new version of MacOS is released. I am behind a year but what I install is the stable version of MacOS and I am not developer other than just a user.

I’ll echo everyone else with the 16” MBP and sleep issue. 10.15.4 worked fine with 2 LG UltraFine 5K screens, 10.15.5 reverted back to kernel panic/crash while asleep. Hoping 10.15.6 fixes it so I can actually let my displays sleep.

Wait....what?!??! Since when does Apple make notebooks that have HDR???! The only HDR display that Apple makes is the XDR Pro Display, right?

Did Apple accidentally let slip their plans for the Apple Silicon-based Mac notebooks releasing this fall!?!??!?!

Mac notebooks got HDR displays in 2018. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT210980

FYI, the firmware on my 2012 MBP 15” just got updated by this release.

The screen still turns dark for a second when starting the machine (mbp 15, 18) while showing the apple and progress bar.. no big deal but makes the system feel fragile already in the first minute.
Turning off feels very fragile to me..i place the (ordered in usa) radtech cloth gently on the keyboard trying not to press a key to avoid a restart...

On the 16" MBP there was a screen refresh rate selection menu in display preferences. Noticed that it was missing a while back and assumed that it is a bug and the next update will fix it. But after today's update to 10.15.6 it is still missing.

Not that I need it, just wondering what happened to it...

Hold down the option key while clicking the “scaled” radio button ;)

It's now hidden by the option key. See the support page below:

Has anyone noticed that the "Software Update" dialog box is broken. This is the second time this has happened. The image is 2.96BG. Some time back, the progress bar reached 2.96 GB but it is still downloading and, if it is like last time, it will keep downloading for roughly the same amount of time that it took for the first 2.96 GB. Its like it is downloading it twice or the progress bar increments too fast.
