If you are in an EU country, is Apple Intelligent include in the install package and just not enabled? or is it not there at all?

The DMA does not apply to Macs.

But apparently you need to set your system language and Siri language to English in order to enable Apple Intelligence.

I just updated and it changed from "Siri" to "Apple Intelligence & Siri" in the System Settings.
OFC no functionality because I'm using the wrong non US region.
So that seems to be the Update, couldn't find a new feature yet, maybe the AirPods hearing test?

Edit:
The Hearing Test works, at least on iOS devices. But that's it, not even the Photo Cleanup

Is there no 15.1 for Intel Macs? My 2018 Mini is showing no update available.

Yeah I understand there are no Apple Intelligence features for Intel, but surely there must be other 15.1 improvements.
mbp 2019 16", installing right now. but i don't get, why my i9 is not supported - it has enough power...

Finding an annoying bug here - after installing the update all of my external monitor settings were reset and I'm struggling to get them back to the state where they were (not finding a way to set the text size resolution while maintaining 144HZ on each external screen).

Can anyone explain the reason behind the system language restriction?
I mean I'm writing in English right now and constantly get autofill prompts and autocorrect works flawlessly. All this happens automatically as macOS detects that I'm writing in English.
But I can't use something like Writing Tools in English, or even turn them on, because my system language is Finnish? Why exactly is that?

Is anyone having camera issues after the update? I have grain all the time. I've checked on 2 Macbooks.

Literally there is an Apple Intelligence toggle. Just turn it off.
Two remaining concerns: (1) does that one switch really turn off everything that AI is set up to do "for you", and (2) the flips side of this, when you turn AI off, do certain expected (and basic) capabilities suddenly vanish in a range of apps?

For example, early in my macOS tenure I found that I really did not want Spotlight, and its good buddy mds/mds_stores, clogging up my CPU cycles and thrashing my HD. So, I turned it off only to discover that this disabled the ability to search inside the Mail app. Yes, I could turn that back on and have Spotlight only look at Mail stuff, but it was yet another little setting that needed to be kept track of every time I did a clean install. I can see Apple burying their AI helper deep within every one of their apps over time.

Anybody have any oddities after installing 15.1?
I did.........

Kind of weird as not every app is duplicated, (in this view). Actaully real finder browsing they are as they should be. Noticed that it's only 3rd party apps.
Oh, M2Max MacBookPro.
