This reactivated Apple Intelligence though I had it turned off.

Maliciously crafted web content may be able to break out of Web Content sandbox. This is a supplementary fix for an attack that was blocked in iOS 17.2. (Apple is aware of a report that this issue may have been exploited in an extremely sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals on versions of iOS before iOS 17.2.)

This doesn't surprise me since I just updated to Sequoia last night after receiving an iPhone 15 with iOS 18.2.1 and had to update. Trying to keep everything working together seems more difficult than it was just a couple of years ago.

downloaded…took just a few minutes. Sequoia 15.3.2 now. Apple Intelligence not available where I live anyway. I do not (yet) mind.

Beware this update enables Apple intelligence if you had it off.
Interesting, it didn't re-enable Apple Intelligence on my M1 Air. I've seen multiple reports of it re-activating on other machines though.

Under "Privacy & Security" in Settings, do you have "Apple Intelligence Report" turned off? I just noticed that setting the other day and turned it off on mine. If you turn off Apple Intelligence from the primary switch it does not seem to turn off the Apple Intelligence Report.
