JFC Apple! Would you please stop realsing these updates when you feel like it?
I just finished updating 150 Macs and 150 iPads with a week left before school starts and you pull this crap.
I'd rather they release more updates close together to patch vulnerabilities in a timely fashion than space them out to be less of a hassle for people managing lots of devices.

Did 15.7 need more time to bake?
It will be released together with Safari 26 (what is still in Beta 4) when Tahoe is released.

You can install it already if you want and don't need to install the update for the Safari 26 Beta but it will be offered to you:

15.7 RC3 (24.G.214) had been released two days ago with security fixes:

Safari 26 Beta 4 (works with 15.4 and higher):

If you use compact tab view: There is a bug. You can't do anything in the address/search bar after a website is opened. Except using the right click menu to close it for example and you always have to open a new tab for a new website/search. The standard (separate) view is working normal.

The Technology Preview 225 doesn't have that bug:

Edit: That link will give you 226 now with the same bug.

Organizations are at a much higher risk than individual users, so delaying updates for the sake of convenience isn’t an option. Frequent downtime isn’t good for productivity either.

I prefer Apple continue to release security updates as soon as possible, versus changing their policy to accommodate paid employees like you who complain about having to do their job on a timely schedule.

Safari Technology Preview 226 released today now has the same bug with Compact Tab layout as the Safari 26 Beta. 😕

If someone wants to install it anyway:

It still doesn't have the redesigned extensions section.

The link for 225 I posted earlier will get you 226 now too.

Updated to macOS 15.6.1 today. It broke Apple Reminders, notifications no longer appear on my 16” M2 MacBook Pro. Checked all settings, look ok.

Called Apple support, prior to speaking to support agent the automated system said a beta version of macOS was detected.

I have never used or installed beta software.

Support agent said no way to fix Reminders and to wait until next update is available.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I just tested and it worked for me. I had Reminders off and not synced. I enabled Reminders, created a Reminder, and turned on iCloud sync. The Reminder appeared on my Studio and iPhone at the same time.

I saw the Reminder was synced to my iPad Pro, but it did not appear there at the appointed time. I had the fetch set incorrectly, I think, that is why it did not appear on the iPad.

edit:: I just set a Reminder on the iPad Pro, and at the correct time, the Reminder did appear on the Studio and iPhone. I have no issues with Reminders so far; you undoubtedly already know this, but you can try to disable Reminders, Notifications, Sync, and then re-enable them.

Coincidentally, today at my college's TV studio editing lab I had to log the Mac OS versions and certain application versions installed on the M3 iMacs in said lab. They all still have Mac OS 15 Sequoia 15.5 installed, and we plan to get them updated to Sequoia 15.6.1 installed on them soon, along with updating Avid Media Composer and Pro Tools, Audacity, and DaVinci Resolve. We just upgraded the Adobe Creative Suite on them, too.

Thanks for the suggestions:

I overlooked the obvious which was to disable and then re-enable Reminders in settings.

Once that was done, Reminders are working properly, issue resolved.
