Hit my Intel iMac 1st, then voila...showed up on the M1 mini
How often do you use the settings app?I just can't bring myself to touch Ventura because of the iOS-like system preferences. I'm going to stay on Monterey until some back-pedaling by Apple occurs (which may be a very long time...). If I wanted this behavior I'd just connect a keyboard to my iPad. I want my Mac to be a Mac, not an iPad wannabe.
Thank God!! They broke it, fixed it, broke again. Now fixed. Hope it stays that way.Location service works fine after updated from 13.5.1.

That’s because you listen to apple… but you don’t pay attention.. you’d have noticed that the next macOS is worse than the previous one, since 2010.I would wait at least another year if I were you, from what I’m hearing next years MacOS will be a better OS
Every single time. For all of you saying you don't see it yet, give it time. Here is something to read while you are waiting:

Then you will understand why you don't see the update immediately.
I didn't notice anything but - seeing as how the update fixes a flaw with the ImageIO framework - it wouldn't surprise me to see those processes taking up a bit more CPU time right after installing the update.I've noticed that right after the update my Mac started photoanalysisd, mediaanalysisd, photolibraryd and corespotlightd processes. Anyone else? Just an observation BTW.
Then don't. If the different layout of system prefs is your biggest problem, you must be doing really well.I just can't bring myself to touch Ventura because of the iOS-like system preferences.
That sounds like something profile related. Try clearing your DNS cache, perhaps.I had my network's DNS set to 9.9.9.9 (quad9.net). After updating I couldn't connect to the internet anymore until I removed that setting. Interestingly other DNS services (e.g. 8.8.8.8) work. Anyone any idea why quad9 does not work anymore? What was changed in the update?
I don’t like the System Settings interface either. Aside from it looking more iOS-like, I just feel like it has made it harder for me to find the correct setting I’m looking for. But maybe that’s just because I’m not quite used to it yet.I just can't bring myself to touch Ventura because of the iOS-like system preferences.
