The iOS 15.2.1 and iPadOS 15.2.1 update can be downloaded for free and the software is available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the new software, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

According to Apple's release notes for the update, it addresses an issue causing Messages sent through an iCloud Link not to load and it fixes bug with third-party CarPlay apps not responding to input.

Could it be for the situation noted in this earlier story?:

"Overnight our team identified that in the 15.2 iOS release, some device settings default to the feature being toggled off. We have shared this with Apple. This is not specific to T-Mobile."

Let’s hope iOS 15.2.1 contains all the bug fixes and stability we saw on the first beta of 15.3, otherwise, I’ll wait for the 15.3 release.

Anyone else having an issue downloading this on devices managed by an MDM such as Jamf? My non managed devices do not have an issue. Managed devices are asking if I would like to use Cellular Data to Download. After selecting Use Cellular Data or Don't Use Cellular data I receive a prompt stating the Software Update Failed.

I recently upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro. I’ve not yet experienced any touch issues. On my XR, iOS 15 was rather laggy at times but that went away with 15.2. In what situations are you still having touch issues?
There are 2 aspects to the touch registration issue. Sometimes when you try to select an object on the screen, the object will show highlighted and not react, requires a second touch. Touching the display to wake the screen requires a second press to wake the display. The other touch registration issue is the *no touch* touch issue. This happens when your finger is very close to the display and the display registers the touch but you have not quite touched the display. I have reported both to Apple and they are aware of the issues. When this will be fixed is anyones guess.

Same here, a little trepidatious but tapped 'Download and Install'. Good to see that's what others are getting too.

Yeah it already installed automatically so couldnt do anything about it but thankfully zero issues..hope it fixes this weird issue with the iphone..when I turn it off completely and back on in the morning, when I put in the passcode it sometimes lags before it shows the home screen only happens when I turn it on after its been shut down
