Notice any differences with the update? Also how do we update the AirPods Max? Just leave them in the case?My AirPods Max just updated to 6A326
I just played music on my Max's via the iPhone for about 20 minutes, plugged them into power (lightning) and left them alone. Took a look about 10 minutes later and they were updated. Didn't use the 'case' or do anything specific. Just used them, then charged them.Notice any differences with the update? Also how do we update the AirPods Max? Just leave them in the case?
Really? Case for me is 54.26.0 and 6F7 for the AirPods Pro 2 firmware.I’m confused. My Airpods Pro 2 lightening version is 7A220e and Case is 70.60.0.
huh? Please please please bring back ANC! Airplane cabin noise is not filtered anymore at all!
You’re on the beta firmware.I’m confused. My Airpods Pro 2 lightening version is 7A220e and Case is 70.60.0.
Doesn’t matter they can bring the old ANC just like i remember when i first bought them (AirPods Pro 2nd Gen) first two months November, December 2022 the noise cancellation was just ridiculously good i couldn’t even hear my own voice after that… Well with updates they ruined it apparently for safety reasons 🤦🏻♂️ Apple transparency mode exists for a reason so when i go out i switch to transparency mode to hear my surroundings but when i want to Active Noise Cancellation i want it 100% to work not to nerf it by 60%.As intended, the new Airpods Pro 3 are imminent and it needs theMH4 to filter cabin noises now as the H2 is not sufficient to do so.
Have you tried replacing the ear tips? I did, and re-ran the ear tip fit test and they sounded better to me.Doesn’t matter they can bring the old ANC just like i remember when i first bought them (AirPods Pro 2nd Gen) first two months November, December 2022 the noise cancellation was just ridiculously good i couldn’t even hear my own voice after that… Well with updates they ruined it apparently for safety reasons 🤦🏻♂️ Apple transparency mode exists for a reason so when i go out i switch to transparency mode to hear my surroundings but when i want to Active Noise Cancellation i want it 100% to work not to nerf it by 60%.
Also, cleaning the mics is worth doing too. But I agree, it has got worse.Have you tried replacing the ear tips? I did, and re-ran the ear tip fit test and they sounded better to me.
I just had the AirPods Max charging with my iPhone charging nearby. It updated right away. Haven’t tried them yet.Notice any differences with the update? Also how do we update the AirPods Max? Just leave them in the case?
Not as ridiculous as airpods themselves not being accessed through an app like the watch instead of having to drill down through settings. And why not easy access to the cloud so you dont have to puke your mail files all over your storage space on your phone or iPad.There needs to be a software update submenu inside the airpods settings menu to see version and check for updates. This is ridiculous.
That's the real sign they want you to buy the new AirPods Pro. Every single time ANC goes to pot around the release of new hardware. What a coincidence. Please please please bring back ANC! Airplane cabin noise is not filtered anymore at all!
Umm definitely not the ANC has been terrible since February 2023 lolThat's the real sign they want you to buy the new AirPods Pro. Every single time ANC goes to pot around the release of new hardware. What a coincidence.
Or a "wearables" app like Samsung has, it allows you to manage, buds, and galaxy watches altogether.Or release an individual app for airpods like apple watch has.
The AirPods had the best ANC on any headphones I ever tried when I bought them. Now they don't filter anything, no voices, no engine noises, no traffic. I thought at first that the rubber tips wore out so I ordered new ones. Still the same. I can clearly make out the white noise that they used to cancel out before.huh?
it‘s way better than last year now
