Build number 21A5506J, compared to previous # 21A5304g. Curious, after a longer wait for it.

That's the same build number as the (non-public) Beta 6. Is'nt there usually one or two additional builds before the public one...?

The emoji updates are done by the consortium so I'm not sure when Apple will add them in. It's not available on iOS / iPadOS.

The mail app was ultra slow (I have my hotmail account on it) with the previous beta, now it is fine again with (21A5506j)

DO NOT INSTALL this beta if you use any product from JetBrains and you have M1. For example PhpStorm crashes at start due to JRE probably.

Where? not released what I can see on my iMac.

Anyone else unable to see the update? I had to reinstall the beta access utility and it downloaded an installer, and I had to update that way.

Seriously though it's going to be a while before I even think about going to this new monstrosity. I want to stay somewhat current, but not at the expense of productivity. Big Sur has to be mostly working by now, right?

It is only m1 versions. Already edited the original post. Btw intel version of jetbrains ide works fine on m1 too. But it is much slower of course.

I have not experienced any of the bugs listed here, but I did have to edit the weather widget in the notifications panel to get it to go out and grab the weather again.

One is 5304, the another is 5506. It’s not just the last digit that has incremented.

Yes, very frustrating. Rebooted a few times and used clean my mac. Safari still crashing on launch.

I cannot remember reading something about lossless there, but since I don't use lossless at the moment I might have skimmed passed that...

I also have problems with Photos Faces in the beta, it has completely messed up the Faces folder with 'zero photos searched' error, even though faces are identified (albeit completely wrong)
