Small change in iPhoto version number. Maybe it just includes iCloud/Photostream enhancements.

Remember when sliders were the big thing at Back to the Mac showcasing Lion?

I wonder why they gave completely up on it.

I can't remember if it works in ML, but it isn't in Mavericks

I just hope they keep the book theme in ibooks. I like the organic graphic look compared to a blank white screen. The only thing they should add is an off white- paper like texture- as a background. The nook HD has this and it looks pretty good.

That's not a smart solution. If I'm thinking correctly, this means you can't write notes in a .pdf book.

Nor sync how far you've read, or bookmarks.

MR might want to add to the OP that there is now a Feedback Assistant app for developers to give feedback

That's not new. The version that came with the DP1 release was a pretty big update but the app itself has been around since the 10.7 betas if not earlier. And it's intended for those in the seed programs, not the general public.

Yeah, I hadn't thought of that. (I just use it for PDFs).

Let me revise: They should kill the PDF features and move them to iBooks.

Preview kept for images, or ideally, becomes a more capable image editor. Think a smaller version of Pixelmator.

Hmm I'm not so sure, I don't really see iBooks as the right app for doing some things, for example filling out PDF forms, adding signatures to PDF documents or adding annotations.

iTunes Radio :D

This build, ignoring the normal "Safari is snappier" jokes, is ridiculously fast. I don't know what they've done under the hood, but damn they've done a good job of whatever they've done.

Well, right now it's too cumbersome to get to my iBooks PDFs. I have to go iBooks-->Open PDF-->Preview. If it's going to appear in the app, then the app should be able to deal with them.

Perhaps Apple should create a Preview app for iOS, then, which would then sync with OS X's, and take over iOS iBooks' PDF duties.

I can no longer drag media from a remote iTunes library to the mavericks iTunes library via home sharing. can someone confirm this ?

Also the auto import and show whats not in my library (whatever it said) buttons are gone too.
