I do think the speeds increases are more significant than what you’re getting at, but it’s the coverage that is lacking. That’s the real reason we haven’t seen many noticeable real-world speed bumps IMO5G is great in a stationary setting.
On a mobile phone, it‘s usually not noticeably faster than 4G.
The technological jumps from generation to generation get less relevant for the user over time.
2G —> 3G was massive. 3G —> 4G was very noticeable. 4G —> 5G is hardly noticeable in many settings.
