Same here. Haven't downloaded neither still 😅
I just tell one of my kids to do it 1st. I let them be the guinea pig.Ah yeah let's all trust Apple again
Relax dude I updated right away. Geez. smhYep, don’t update and get nailed by the actively exploited, zero day webkit flaw that allows attackers to execute code. Your choice.
Actively exploited on 0.001 percent of websites and maybe 0.0000001 percent of ads.Yep, don’t update and get nailed by the actively exploited, zero day webkit flaw that allows attackers to execute code. Your choice.
a - Alpha(a) was buggy, and now they release (c)... how bad was (b)??
And b was (b)uggy.a - Alpha
c – Correct(ed)
If your statistics are true then why did Apple prioritize this RSR? Your attitude is called "whistling past the grave yard". Not a concern until you get hit. FWIW I installed (c) and everything is fine. Of course I installed (a) and everything was fine too.Actively exploited on 0.001 percent of websites and maybe 0.0000001 percent of ads.
According to what data? The CVE entry has yet to be updated. https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2023-37450Actively exploited on 0.001 percent of websites and maybe 0.0000001 percent of ads.
(a) had an issue on Facebook, which Facebook had fixed by the morning...
When the peanut gallery can’t open Facebook they panic and run around with their hair on fire. Sad, because Facebook fixed the issue from their end by yesterday morning. Big kerfuffle over nothing.Tbh dont know why apple pulled the first rsr as there was no issues with it! Apple cant help if facebook (which meta fixed so it was a good thing) and others use sloppy code to detect the browser used.
Using the user agent is generally frowned upon and detecting browser is now the standard
I doubt anytime acted that way, they were more caught off guard. I thought it was funny, and reading the jokes about it, I wasn’t the only one. When the peanut gallery can’t open Facebook they panic and run around with their hair on fire. I just finished installing it and - so far - I haven't had any issues w/ the update (I did have some issues installing the (a) version). I don't have a Facebook/Instagram/Zoom account though so I can't really say for sure if those sites work now.Any issues with the Mac version ? I'm a little scared of installing this. Not sure if it'll break something else![]()
The guinea pigging power is in your hands!
Its fine issues in Safari are all fixed on macbook the only place I saw issues but did both MacBooks and all iPads and iphonesI just downloaded it, I assume after taking time to get it right, they have hopefully gotten it right this time
Instagram works fine on safari now as does facebook on my MacBook issue is fixed. Never had any problems I knew of on iOS and iPadOS but installed it all Just nowI just finished installing it and - so far - I haven't had any issues w/ the update (I did have some issues installing the (a) version). Weirdly enough, the (a) version of the update never showed up in the System Information "Installations" section after I installed it but the (c) version does show up.
Does 'c' install correctly regardless of whether 'a' is installed ( or not )?
