it seems a lot snappier (can't say for sure though), and I get notifications from websites now!

good update

What about the other 19% of Mac users running Snow Leopard?

What about them? It's an update for Safari 7, which isn't available for Snow Leopard and never will be.

If you're referring to the security fixes, that's a good question. It sounds like Apple have officially stopped supporting Snow Leopard completely, including Safari. So, I don't expect to see any more security updates again.

This Safari update has generated a permission error on my 2012 Mini that won't go away. Anyone else?

the scrolling is noticeably smoother. buttery smooth now.

now if only they could make finder smooth as safari.

i cant swipe back a page ... it gets like stuck? i can see something overlapping on the left side and i cant go on another web site either, safari simply doesnt recognize any input after swiping back unless i quit and open it again

Kills Google Chrome

The Safari 7.0.3 update assassinated Google Chrome. Since i updated Safari, Chrome crashes on opening. Deinstalled Chrome, trashed it, downloaded it again, reinstalled--same thing.

Now if they would just fix the problem for Safari on iOS they will have caught up to all the other browsers...[/QUOTE]

Try iCab on iOS. It allows you to save forms for anything, saves pages n stuff to downloads and/or dropbox, far too many plugins, full screen in any orientation and other fun stuff like a real browser. It doesn't appear that iOS safari will ever be less than basic. If they would only allow choice in default browsers, I couldn't care less (I do prefer safari on the mac though).
