lots of bugs, for example...if "show separate tab bar" isn't checked, sometimes u cannot close the tab. It either goes on bookmark, or it doesn't close at all...Also the UI for sidebar is kinda laggy also. Don't know what are they trying to do with safari, but they don't go on the right place with it.

Seems like font rendering in one row tabs was fixed.
Tab dragging in separate tab bar needs work though, cursor jumps to middle of tab while dragging.

It seems that STP running on Big Sur can't|doesn't share tab groups with i-devices running iOS/iPadOS 15 beta. Does this work for anyone?

Yes agreed. Doesn’t share/sync with my ios15 idevices either. I’m with the post a few up, I’m just going to get rid off STP, it just seems to introduce more problems than solutions (like for example duplicative (with reg safari) or non working altogether website notifications). Man I’m just trying to switch to Safari from Chrome on desktop so that my bookmarks start syncing better and now for the tab group syncing (and maybe final version of Safari on Monterey will be better or good, but so far it’s a no go.

Just installed this and it defaults to the "old" layout with the URL bar at the top and I immediately didn't like how much space it all takes up. I'm used to the new thinner layout now so it looks like I'll be turning it back on! 😂

The UI container that contains the Breakpoints menu on the Sources tab in the web inspector is collapsed to the point it's hidden. Only shows up if you manually set and reach a breakpoint. This issue prevents users from toggling the "break on" settings. Took me forever to figure out why debugger statements were being ignored.

Netflix is broken here too - with weird error messages about updating os and stuff like that - says Hmtl 5 problem

Is everything the same on Big Sur as it is on Monterey? I read tab groups were gone on 127 on Big Sur so I've stayed on 126.

i went back to 127, I love the new tab feature, but they killed it in subsequent versions

I wonder if Safari on iOS / iPhone will ever have an option to not bring back to the top of the page after going back one page. It’s really a irritating.

I am having issues where when I open a new tab, it doesn't appear in the toolbar. I have to click on another open tab to get it to appear. I am also finding that my fan is working a bit more due to higher CPU. But all in all, the new Safari looks promising.
