Same here, 16Gb RAM and always get the low on memory or this page is using resources and asking me to close the page. Never happened before Ventura.
Many times on facebook, the page won't scroll down and I have to re-load the page.
Really infuriating
I've got 32GB on my Studio and 24GB on my MacBook Air M2 but I still receive that same message particularly when it comes to a variety of different web technology heavy websites. It has basically gotten to the point that I've moved back to Chrome. I really want Safari/Webkit to be a solid competitor to Chrome but Apple certainly make it difficult when these long standing issues are either being ignored or developers deny that they exist in the first place.

Chrome used to work well. But now it’s literally the new IE. It forces itself to people because so many web devs only test on Chrome for compatibility. Add on to people have their habits built up through time, people use Chrome now because it’s Chrome.

And we are entering the new dark age of internet, where the whole internet will be Chrome-based. Once iOS is opened for other web engines, web developers no longer has a reason to test compatibility with Safari. They would just tell their visitors to install Chrome.

Google’s own services already don’t work with other Chromium based browsers. Eg Google Docs, Sheets, etc don’t work with Brave. I have to use Safari, but that’s because WebKit is enforced on iOS, so Google would have to support it. Once that restriction is gone, Google can simply drop Safari from their supported browsers.
Again Chrome works well. It faster and more compatible than any other browser I have used. I login to Chrome on a new computer, my favorites are synced in seconds, my extensions a few moments later. Do that with FF, Edge, or Safari it is much slower. Logging into Edge on new computer....is living hell. You have to wade through many screens, and all this Bing garbage etc..etc. Then you finally login and wait for stuff to sync.

I try Safari at least once a year on Mac. It never fails to let me down in some way. There is no profile support. There are no themes or color support, just boring white. Extension support is the worst of all browsers. Bookmark management pales in comparison to all other browsers. While most web pages work fine, I hit enough in Safari to make me just quit using it....once again. FF is the second worst when it comes to broken websites. They browser is a window to what I want to use, and if it gets in the way, I do not want to use it. FF is also the slowest of all that I have tried. It is very customizable but the profile support is very lacking. It can be done, just not as easily as any Chromium based browsers.

I'm thinking of moving to Chrome, I'm getting fed up and I don't care for Firefox. I tried Edge but also didn't care for it, I don't remember why

Chrome has improved immensely and with Google putting the kibosh on forcing everyone to move to MV3 (the development meeting minutes for the Webextensions API illuminates the laundry list of critical parts of the API that are either in a state of flux, not developed, still adding functionarlity as third party developers chime in regarding must have features missing). The reason I am using Chrome is because I use Google Workspace, an Android phone along with Chromecase with Google TV. I'd love to see Apple provide Safari on Android along with CardDAV and CalDAV support in Android so thosed with mixed environments can get it all working together but something tells me that their interest in supporting non-Apple platforms is limited to the bare minimum.

I'm going to download Chrome right now. Fed up with having to re-load facebook because I can't scroll down

I see there's STILL no overflow menu for your Safari Extensions? Seems odd, it's been a while now since Safari's pushed using various Extensions. You'd think SOMEone working on Safari would understand this need...

I get the distinct feeling that no one uses extensions inside Apple based on how they ignore content blocking extension developers requests to address functionality holes in their MV3 implementation.
