I didn’t know that anyone actually used Safari, other than on iOS where we’re forced to against our will.

I am using Safari (iOS and macOS only) for several years after trying first Firefox and thereafter Chrome. For an 'normal' user Safari is just fine, better then Firefox and much more 'private' then Chrome. For me it just does what it needs to do.

Gotta love Safari users with social network accounts claiming Chrome violates privacy, hilarious, your data's been long sold whether you use tor, safari, chrome or whatever, wake up this is the internet.

Horizontal tab management in Safari 2018 (reported since STP v1!! - not even 20 tabs - happens both left and right side with more open). Imagine using this "professionally", it saves battery though!

So, because there are other possible privacy leaks, we shouldn't care about privacy at all? How does that compute?

Dear Sir, privacy is a wonderful thing and should be encouraged, you are very free to believe/act however you consider, I wish we were just talking about "possible leaks" though.

They’re are some grammar czech extensions for Chrome that work pretty good.

Apple today released a new update for Safari Technology Preview, the experimental browser Apple first introduced two years ago in March of 2016. Apple designed the Safari Technology Preview to test features that may be introduced into future release versions of Safari.

Safari Technology Preview release 52 includes bug fixes and feature improvements for Service Workers, Loading, JavaScript, CSS, Web API, Accessibility, Web Driver, Web Inspector, WebAssembly, and Media. Today's update also removes support for running legacy NPAPI plug-ins other than Adobe Flash.

The Safari Technology Preview update is available through the Software Update mechanism in the Mac App Store to anyone who has downloaded the browser. Full release notes for the update are available on the Safari Technology Preview website.

Apple's aim with Safari Technology Preview is to gather feedback from developers and users on its browser development process. Safari Technology Preview can run side-by-side with the existing Safari browser and while designed for developers, it does not require a developer account to download.

You can use scrolling of the tabs or Tab View function.

Thanks, the scrolling tip is what we needed, had no clue ! We actually used ctrl+tab & ctrl+shift+tab all the time, but it was a bit of a pain to explain that every time to new teams.
