False. Was in the first beta which I am running now.
Seriously!Dam it Apple, why no Cycle count info on that screen. WHY?!?!
Was this via Apple or 3rd party? Still a question whether this applet will work on devices with 3rd party batteries or if OEM from Apple is required.I had the battery in my 6S replaced in June 2017 (9 months of use) and according to the new battery health widget it's still at 100%.
Here is the skinny on the entire battery deal. Have a read:I'm at 70% with a "your battery's health is significantly degraded" message. Still "supports peak performance" though. I wonder what percentage you have to hit before that changes.
6 Plus, though it's a replacement from mid-2016.
Maybe I am not following this closely, but is there any change at all for "Books" (other than the name changed from iBooks to Books)? I am curious because I use iBooks heavily on my iPad and iPhone.
Same, purchased it in October and it’s at 89% and no throttling. Gonna replace it soon anyway. The stock battery in my iPhone 7 purchased in September of 2016 is at 89% max capacity according to the new beta.
X - still 100%. Had it since launch day. I wireless charge it every night and usually have it charging in my car in order to use CarPlay. I expected worse.what's everyone seeing for peak battery performance? I'm getting 98% on my X....
Apparently it was in the first. Read some mixed messages saying it wasn’t.
I think Apple is opening up a very big can of worms with this one. This will create a culture of people who believe their iPhones are "lesser quality" than others due to battery health, and demand better. They paid hundreds of dollars for these devices and receiving this knowledge that their phone can only be charged to 85-95% of original battery capacity is really going to piss people off.
Imagine opening a new iPhone during the setup phase in the store and running the battery check. You see it is only capable of 98-99% maximum charge capacity. Would you buy it, or keep trying to get a model with 100%?
Once you expose Oz from behind the curtain, he's no longer the Great Wizard and now becomes vulnerable to an attack from an Uzi automatic submachine gun.
"This feature applies to iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus."Which phone models can benefit from this feature? Seems iPhone 5s does not show it.
I'm sure they make sure brand new iPhones test at 100% before boxing them, I imagine this 0-100% reading is the same as the Genius Bar diagnostic.I think Apple is opening up a very big can of worms with this one. iPads have never had any power management due to battery aging implemented so iPads are not part of this nor will they get this feature. Just what Apple has stated.
WiFi SNAFU - still does not work. I have feedbacked upload issues (i.e. 200kb/s instead of 10 MB/s) on ANY type of WiFi (secure/open). Hope they would have fixed it - but nope.

Maybe you should read all the comments instead of cherry picking. I’ve already said I was wrong.yes it was
How many times I have to repeat myself? Read all the comments. I already said I was wrong. Also had it enabled it the first beta.
Dude relax. Folks are probably replying before seeing your responses (instead of selecting the multiquote option) No worries.Maybe you should read all the comments instead of cherry picking. I’ve already said I was wrong.

Apparently you all like cherry picking.
They have mentioned what devices are included, and not all iPhones were in the list nor any iPads:Actually, has Apple actually stated this? I think all you can say is they haven't mentioned iPads at all with regards to battery management - but then, they didn't mention it about iPhones until they got caught.
In any case, I hope Beta 2 is significantly better than Beta 1 in terms of battery life...
