Hopefully this will solve a problem I've been having where audio played from iTunes has noise in it (on the computer side) when also streaming to Airport Express.

Hopefully it plays your torrented music better! This site should be called "Mac Pirates" because it advocates cracking OSX and hacking the Mac. No heat issues here after realeasing my fifth album already sold close to 9000 units in 4 months! But I'm using my mac using non cracked software and the music I listen to I pay for because being a recording artist (yes, you hear my music all the time) I understand that there's tons of file sharing users that frequent these sites because of the hackintosh...The hackintosh has shamed the mac users because of the PC users that think apple has some world scam against the consumer it gives them credability to be crackers and dishonest people. Keep up the good work discrediting the Mac as a viable computing platform...
in the meantime... I'm selling records and producing a viable form of creativity instead of negativity.

Oh shut up. You have no idea what so ever.

Just for your information, all my music and iPhone apps are from the Apple store, all my mac apps are either free (student) or purchased.

You've already proved in another thread you have no idea what you are on about.

Oh and i've used macs for the last 15 years and so have many others on this forum so give over.

You should have stayed in school. This weak attempt of yours to impress people is a complete waste of your time. If you weren't full of your own BS you imply that you cut through, you'd know better. Nine thousand units in four months... no wonder your self-esteem is so low. You can't even BS a decent sales figure!

I would be interested in hearing you talk a little more about why you think this garbage about piracy, torrents and hacking has anything to do with this thread topic, however. Are you capable of doing that? You can't spell, but maybe you can make a point, or engage in debate with more success?

reboot and repair disk permissions. Nothing wrong with coreaudio for MBPs

Sure. Maybe I should defrag my harddrive too, reset my PRAM, and change my desktop background?

dont be open to suggestions then geez  if you dont want any help then i wont give you any. if there was an actual problem with the coreaudio on the MBPs then it would be plastered everywhere on these forums - but since there isnt a problem and its not plastered everywhere, then there is nothing wrong and probably nobody really wanting to help you. meaning its related to your machine :(

if anyone that needs to stay on old OS like Leopard
here are the drivers included in the update
you can try to install them with kexthelper and see if it helps (or ****s up system) on 10.5.8 or 10.6.1 or whatever

I have a 2.66 Quad Nehalem Mac Pro, I tried to do this last night running Leopard 10.5.8. When I restarted my computer after the update, my computer froze at the Apple logo screen, then went straight to a blue background...never loaded the OS. Reformatted my drive to recover.

Any idea when/if Apple is going to release the update for Leopard? I have 10.6 as well, but prefer to stay on Leopard for compatibility reasons for now.

Thanks,

Chris

Ha, your fifth album and your only doing 225 units a month. Miserable. Your Mac Pro clearly had heat issues if you have a Nehalem processor prior to this update.
