These posts about who uses the oldest version of iOS are amusing but strange. Not wanting to use beta I get, but sticking to old software with security issues because you're unimpressed with the newer software just doesn't make sense.
And you need to use the latest firmware because of herd immunity. What if someone sends you those strange characters and crashes your iMessage, then you pass it on to us? (I’m joking!)

I think I would be constantly anxious if I was running an old version of an operating system. News-worthy, critical exploits seem more common recently. I assume most of us use banking apps etc.

I have an iPhone 6 that was getting throttled badly. Now it runs like brand new again! Everything is faster and more responsive. So far so good, but I'm still keeping my appointment to get the battery replaced.

Right.... Considering the throttling only happen under stress, I know you are delusional or on placebo...
Especially because it is an old phone bud and you're battery will likely be heavily depleted.

Replacing the battery, well do it, got no issue with that one.

And yeah, got 3 phones around here that are 6,6s to 7 and actually have tested speed with and without beta.

Why is it strange? It's an honest, informed opinion. My 6S performed and looked the best under a certain iOS edition, and to my experience it all went downhill after that. For all intents and purposes, iOS 11 has been the worst release in the history of post-Forstall iOS.

Why would I not express the desire to keep it as-is, and for Apple to continue digitally signing iOS 2-3 gens back, with the occasional security updates? Even though I'm very much aware it won't happen.

Who are you to say it doesn't make sense?

Really, the feedback I'm reading is that it's decidedly better than b2, and some of the really nasty b2 issues have been resolved.
It’s safe to say that it’s the most stable beta of iOS 11, by far, now that it’s been a couple of days. Haven’t had a single crash on my iPhone X. Camera app used to crash on Portrait Mode every once in a while on every version of iOS 11. Battery life is still the same. Around 6 hours on heavy usage and 7 on moderate.

I am not doing the beta right now (with my iPhone X) so the rest of you pick up the slack and help Apple get the bugs out, so we can get iMessage in iCloud quicker. :)
If you can trust me, I’d suggest you to install iOS 11.3 beta 3 on your iPhone X, mate. I think this is the best version of iOS 11 I’ve used on my X, by far. Haven’t had a single crash or a respring since updating.

New music videos and ad-free stuff in Apple Music. I just got the splash screen for it last night!

Other than a random battery drain that I had a few hours after installing this beta, I definitely agree that this one is one of the best so far. Almost doesn't even feel like running a beta! That one battery drain was the only issue I've had so far and it was only that one time.

Good call removing airplay 2. I felt the buggyness .
What kinds of issues were you having with it? I had a few instances where it didn't always connect right away or it would cut out, but for me that was about it. It was enough for me to think it needed more work, but it wasn't terrible. Still think this was a good call though!

My 6s shows 92% capacity and cpu performance is downgraded to 911MHz :(
Is my battery eligible for replace for £25 ?

They seemingly all are (though not sure how it goes in the UK), though you may need a while since everyone and their mama want one now.

Just sort out the fracking throttling already! FOR SPARTAAAAA!!!!

Replace the battery if it bothers, otherwise you'll be authorized to kill your phone in a jiffy.

What buggyness did you “feel” or notice?

Connecting music to my HomePods, switching music from HomePod to Iphone, and from HomePod to another HomePod.
