Please stop copying Apple marketing. WatchOS 5 is all but major.watchOS 5 is a major update to watchOS, [...]
as removing beta profile + reboot won't fix this issue, only unpair will bring it back to connect to Internet. but if you install beta profile it will immediately bring back the issue. so I tried this way in 42mm s1 and finally succeeded in upgrading to beta 3: when pair the watch, using recovery to first image of 5 beta 1 and then install beta profile and then uninstall profile, then install beta profile again--this time it can connect to Internet and update will show up.Any way around the "you are not connected to the internet" message? I've tried rebooting phone + watch, positioning the phone on a Curry line, etc, but to no avail.
It’s funny I just had the same deja vu thought thninking that maybe somehow the forums server has linked the posts from last year to this new thread.I had all the betas last year for both iOS and WatchOS - boy this thread just reminded me of all the headaches... If WatchOS 5 had some new watch faces I would have made the jump (damn I'm tired of the current ones) but it doesn't so I'll just wait.
Definitely gone with the third beta...at least on 42mm stainless Series 3.I don't see Walkie Talkie missing on an Apple Watch Series 3. Which series are you using?
yeah, just change to 2.4 GHz and the Internet issue is gone for my 38mm s1, which I can't fix with other trick.I’m not sure if this did it or not, but I connected my phone to a 2.4 GHz network instead of the 5GHz. Then I restarted both the watch and the phone, and all was good.
Either I’m a genius or I got lucky. Either way, I’ll take it.

Burned 44 calories on an hour of jogging? Hmmm.
Already there, called Push to Talk. Apple may come out with their own version but at the moment it is a provider feature. So where is Walkie Talkie for iOS?! It’s kind of worthless to have it only on watchOS!
I see the contact names in my app so it must be something unique.Hi, The contact names are not showing up in my messages app after updating to Beta 3. Anyone else have this issue? I did a reset of the sync data in the setting on the watch app and rebooted both my phone and watch. Any ideas?
