Image playground looks like something to fool around with for 10 minutes and then never use again. Not very useful and very limited.

It's very basic and bubbles interface that forces you to choose a 'personality' is not good. It should all be prompts with no bubbles etc. Anyone who thinks that looks good has gone a bit karen in the head.

I am being lazy and dumb right now because I can't "quickly" find Genmoji, all I find is Image Playground in Messages, within macOS or iOS, updated to the latest developer betas...
Anyone able to see where they are quickly? I was thinking (+) Genmoji... like Memoji but nope, and then directly in Emoji button, nope, or how about Image Playground somewhere a button in there, nope... so that's all I got getting a headache... LOL

Thanks for any direction...

No problems with 15 PM, M4 iPad Pro 13 inch, or Apple Watch Ultra 1 all installed with no problems whatsoever

Haven't found it on macOS, yet.

But in iOS, anywhere you can pull up the emoji keyboard, like in Messeges or Notes, you now can "Describe an Emoji", and it will make one:

I don't think it's on macOS currently

Same thing happened to me and others, so try this:

Settings>General>Keyboard>Emoji (at the bottom)

Look to see if the Stickers toggle is turned on. Once it is you'll see the Genmoji prompt icon in the far right of the emoji keyboard in Messages.

It took about 1 week to get access after requesting it, so those people who installed Dev Beta1 when it came out for sure should have it by now.
I applied during beta 1 and just got access a few days ago. It’s just a matter of waiting.

I know this is on beta right now but, out of 10 pts this is how I rate current services:
1 being terrible
10 being Legen-Wait for it, Wait for it, DARY…

  • Image Playground - 3/10 — Right now this is super Meh. It's a toy, and not a good one.
  • Image Wand - 7/10 — has potential
  • Genmoji - 5/10 — almost on the same level as Image Playground, but a tad more useful.. almost.
  • Siri ChatGPT Integration - 6/10 — Has potential, but pain in the ass right now.
  • Visual Intelligence - 7/10 — has potential
  • Writing Tools - 9/10 — This is probably the feature I have used the most, that is working really well.

For some reason my M1 MBP is stuck on 15.1 and hasn't recognized a public or dev beta since. Weird.

Where is it getting the source of "you" - as in from your photos app?
I'm just wondering if that is the case is there a way to customise the "you" image or is it just making a bit of a best-guess based on all of the photos of you in the photo app.
