Does this give any new content the uk? When I say 'new' I mean content that is on all the other media boxes except the Apple TV? Does Siri on the Apple TV now do anything other than iTunes or Netflix? Can you set up a viewing schedule using a tv interface/planner, Can it airplay my iPhone 4K content to my tv in glorious 4K? Or is it still a pointless embarrassment of a black box that is practically useless as a tv streamer or game box and well behind the curve in the uk?

Still haven't fixed the rental expiry display via home sharing since ATV4 first came out.
Poor form.
One reason to keep ATV3.

There is still no firmware update for the remote, so don't bother trying to update it.

My DMA movies still show up (they're all from the free code you get in BluRays). Maybe try relinking your iTunes account again to see if that makes them sync up again
Tried it the other day and it didn't work. But tried again and they finally showed back up.

I have been having laggy swiping and random app crashing issues since tvOS 10.

I am hoping this fixes those issues.

Also, I noticed that extended use of the YouTube app tends to bring out all sorts of bugs and crashes on the home screen and other apps.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Btw, a restart seems to temporarily fix many of the bugs.

Yup. I also find that after watching three YouTube videos they start to degrade and stutter.

Some the new TvOS came out, I've stopped using my Apple TV altogether. No matter what I do, every single time I turn on my Apple TV, it gives me a pop-up asking for my iTunes password. It's a pain in the you know what to use the painful Apple interface to input my super long password and even after doing so, the next time I use my Apple TV, it forces me to input my password again. I've tried resetting my Apple TV and that doesn't change anything either.

I feel like a full-time tech support guy trying to deal with all of the constant Apple updates that happen to all of the Apple devices around the house and I'm sick and tired of it. As for this Apple TV, I'm done. I don't have time for this any more. It's going up for sale and I'm getting a Roku.

It is a different world now when it comes to Apple products. "It just works" is no longer the case.

It is funny, all the things I used to complain about MS, and other Apple competitors, is now becoming the same complaints I have about Apple.

I've been a longtime die-hard Apple consumer and I could not agree with you more. It's been sad to see this transition take place, but it has and the degradation is not slowing down.

As for me, I'm working on simplifying the work Apple has caused by doing the following:

1) Apple TV is out of here. I don't have any more time to try and "make it work".
2) As soon as Sierra gets to 10.12.3 I will stop all updates and I will not update again until we get to 10.13.3...and I might even wait until 10.14.3 to avoid the hassle.
3) Same with iOS. Once its stable, I'm not touching it until I have to.

There comes a point in which we just need to live life and I'm not wrestling with all of these issues anymore.
