ATV is quite annoying if you're binge-watching an iTunes series. It's a bit mad when an episode nears the end, you back out and then have to wander around the screen to play the next episode. Netflix does it much better.
Not really. Fitbit has been doing it for years.Apple Fitness +
What product does Apple make that does things that others can't? Their products are always more about seamlessness and user experience.
The built in Roku has full AirPlay support.I find AirPlay to be very useful
Then why are you in a TVos topic?
I use airplay every night to play sleep sounds app over my home stereo in my room. been doing that for 5+ years and it’s been invaluable really. One reason I can’t get into another device I do have other devices but mostly use the apptvI find AirPlay to be very useful
Nope - this is extremely annoying - wonder if the problem is at the Mac end rather than the ATV?Did they fix the freezing that was happening with seek in Home Sharing?
I largely use the ATV app on my LG TVs but for iTunes extras you need to have the ATV box itself. Also I need the box to feed to my projector, so I'll always want and use the box itself.

I've got a load of non-4K Apple TVs that haven't been plugged in for months. I'll fire one up and see if it works - logically it should. It's the Apple TV. I noticed it right after upgrading the first one and didn't upgrade any of my others, only the upgraded unit exhibits the issue. I may have to roll it back to the older tvOS.
