ATV is quite annoying if you're binge-watching an iTunes series. It's a bit mad when an episode nears the end, you back out and then have to wander around the screen to play the next episode. Netflix does it much better.

Right now we’re using a Roku ultra and express for fuboTV. Is the current AppleTV still an okay buy and get another when the new generation comes out? Or just wait for the new one?

I find AirPlay to be very useful
I use airplay every night to play sleep sounds app over my home stereo in my room. been doing that for 5+ years and it’s been invaluable really. One reason I can’t get into another device I do have other devices but mostly use the apptv

I largely use the ATV app on my LG TVs but for iTunes extras you need to have the ATV box itself. Also I need the box to feed to my projector, so I'll always want and use the box itself.
Did they fix the freezing that was happening with seek in Home Sharing?
Nope - this is extremely annoying - wonder if the problem is at the Mac end rather than the ATV?

Wish they’d release the new atv with super duper graphics

Not bothering with arcade when my iPad wipes the floor with the atv games

good no changes i just and everyone else likes the way that looks and works
amazon fire stick is horrible!

It's the Apple TV. I noticed it right after upgrading the first one and didn't upgrade any of my others, only the upgraded unit exhibits the issue. I may have to roll it back to the older tvOS.

I've got a load of non-4K Apple TVs that haven't been plugged in for months. I'll fire one up and see if it works - logically it should.

Ok - tested the computer and home sharing with a couple of non-4K Apple TVs (used because they dont have the latest software) and yes, the home sharing works fine.

One has TVOS 14.3 and the other has 13.4.8
