Apple Releases Updates for Pages, Numbers, and Keynote on iOS and Mac

I know that flat-file databases are a relic of the 80's, but I'd love to see Bento resurrected.

IS there any sort of work around for getting mirored pages (2 page spread)? I am happy to see the Expanded shape options and the linked text blocks back but laying out a publication a single page at a time is nuts... As much as I dont want to get new software, the lack of this feature is a deal-breaker....alternative suggestions welcome

What would be wrong with having an extra iWork program exclusively for full (real) computers? At least in my case, I'd pay pretty well for an updated version of that with some confidence it will continue to get some attention going forward for the next few years.

This is Apple remember. You have no guarantee it'll continue to get attention. Just like Pages lost functionality on a whim. Aperture bit the dust. So did Bento. So did Shake. So did iWeb. So did iPhoto. Soundtrack Pro. WebObjects. iSync.
