I’d say this product is dead. It doesn’t even get the attention the Apple TV gets or HomePods. It’s just bad sadly
You need to take a closer look at 26.4, it included a foverated streaming API, which is used by KRVR.app to finally bring decent PCVR support. Last month the 2D version of Steam streaming came to the platform and I expect we will see full SteamVR support later this year, as all the foundational parts have fallen into place in the last couple of months.

It looks like AVP is about to become the best PCVR headset, which will be the gateway to people exploring the wider platform.

I ordered one last week and it should be here on Friday.

remember when new environments came in updates? ah the good ol days.
I love the Jupiter one, I would love it if they updated the other environments to have similar capability and customization. Or if they just improve the worst environment (the beach one). The trees look horrible and the waves are basically nonexistent. Its the only environment that completely breaks immersion for me.

Your right it gets much more attention then Apple TV and HomePods. Apple is regularly adding tons of new features, environments, content, etc. Just the last update they added CloudXR support for streaming GPU/gaming, Foveated streaming, and a bunch of spatial audio improvements.

Apple is releasing new exclusive content almost every other month, court side basketball was the latest I can recall. The update before that added spacial pencil support in native apps.
There is no bigger picture except the scrapyard for the AVP!
Why? The best productivity and entertainment device on the market.

I thought everyone loved the bora bora environment. I don't use it because the screen size is way smaller than every other environment for some odd reason.
