OH MAN! S2 is still strong then. I wonder why some people are having problems with their s2 and latest update.
I'm not sure why. Mixture of Apps, low storage reserves?
- honestly I wish there was a better way to manage apps that are currently running vs the Dock. I feel this is poorly designed by Apple.
Yes the S2 still running strong and the issues I faced back since September 2017 is resolved and narrowed down to Jabra headset. Apple continues to make me happy even with the issues created by them (on other platform).
Imagine where we'd all be if Apple chose NOT to enter the smartphone space, the tablet space, and create a revolutionary watch.

My watch is still having intermittent problems transferring music from my phone. With each update I hope that it “just works” like Apple products once did, but no. Reset watch. Reset phone. Open phone watch app, restart phone watch app. Maybe at some point it will start transferring. Sometimes it never transfers. Ugh.
I'll have to re-read any replys you've done since this initial post but what do you mean by "transferring music from your phone" ?
- Copying individual tracks?
- Copying playlists (self made vs Apple's auto 80's, 90's, frequently played playlists)?
Also have you deleted and disabled the "Heavy Rotation" which copies a LOT of tracks over to the Apple Watch? I found this eats up storage quickly and if you have your own personally named playlists with tracks outside of the Heavy Rotation, these playlists are listed yet don't fill up with any playable tracks.
IMPORTANT: Prior to this weeks update, and I'm presuming this continues ... songs in a playlists that are being copied over NEED to be completed. If you remove the Watch from charger the songs stop to copy in the playlist and NO songs are available! serious PAIN in the butt!
Ha, wow, I've not seen that happen yet, but I admit I don't look at the amount of space left as I have only been able to sync maybe 15 songs on the watch, and expect there to be sufficient space left.
I even thought I would stop updating the phone and watch once I had a stable syncing version, but that doesn't help either, they just eventually stop syncing.
Yesterday I had tried to sync about 10 songs before my 10 mile run, wasted 45 minutes trying to trouble shoot, and ended up running with my phone in my hand because they simply wouldn't transfer. Totally defeats the purpose of having the watch (for me).
Guess I should erase/repair my watch AGAIN to make it work? BS! Such a long process. Even restarting my watch takes a long time (series 2). Thankfully my iPhone X reboots in seconds now, which takes a little of the pain out of it.
Thanks the reply, Shirasaki. Misery loves company!
How long are your songs and what's the bitrate and format at?
MP3, AAC, 128/256/320KBPS, 15mins long tracks or 3-6mins?
I ask because from all the former music recordable & playback mediums I've used in my lifetime: Cassette, Compact Disc, Mini-Disc, digital MP3, SonyEricsson/Sony M2 or MemoryStick, MicroSD and finally iPhone internal flash storage, I've always had issues having enough space to save all the music I listen to (House club mixes, DJ mixes over an hour set, Funk concerts etc). Took me a while to realize bitrate and track length affected songs fitting on a medium for me.
I'm STILL flaborgasted that durign sync when Watch App states 7/15 songs ... that the previous 6 songs where NEVER saved to the Watch if I pull the watch off the charger during the sync. Grrrr &%&%^$^$^&$**#
