Look like this is different version than RC was. I had RC installed and got a new update of 7.1 today... Profile is deleted so different version...
Still no Australia!ECG app is now at version 1.18R590.
Agree. It’s ridiculous. Fix this problem Apple.Won’t install on series 3 again due to lack of space. This is silly having to unpair watch to install an update.
It's fixed now.Hey... my watch hadn't been unlocking my mac - great to see this could be fixed up.
My series 6 can’t hold a charge longer than 5 hours with WOS7.1! It’s my first Apple Watch... any suggestions?Let’s see if battery life is better on series 5.
That's what I've done the last few updates, but not working this time. 1.9GB available on my S3 after many forced restarts.Said the same thing for me but I didn't do unpair thing, restarting my watch a few times got me the space needed.
I can confirm that the above mentioned data is backHas anyone seen if the exercise data is back incl the missing GPS data?
This wasn't enough when trying to update my wife's Series 3 GPS. After a lot of fiddling, I finally found that if I also went to Settings->General->Website Data and deleted that, the update barely had enough room.Instead of unparing, why don't you free up space by removing music, photos, applications. That would be the first thing I'd consider before unpairing and re paring the watch.
Are you trying to update via the function in the iPhone och directly from the AW?AW3 on 7.0.1, auto-rebooting several times per day. Cannot update to 7.1, even after unpairing to free up enough space. Update hangs at “Preparing” for a very long time, then ultimately returns an “unable to verify due to lack of internet connection” — which is simply not true; WiFi is solid, phone is using it just fine. Tried at least six times, to no avail. Seems Apple has completely abandoned us AW3 users.
If you’re going to completely nerf our watches with broken updates, at least give us the ability to downgrade/rollback to the last, fully functioning OS. This is horrible.
@Zyqs - I have tried both methods, several times. I have always performed watchOS updates, from the iPhone, but I was desperate to get this installed, so I tried both. Sadly, neither approach is successful. Are you trying to update via the function in the iPhone och directly from the AW?
Is the iPhone close to the AW during the process?
Is the AW connected to the iPhone?
After you unpair, then re-paired, if you power cycle the AW3, you *should* have enough space to start the install process. However, don't get to excited -- if you're experience is anything like mine, you'll get the "Update failed to verify, because it's not connected to this internet", which is 100% inaccurate.I have unpaired, repaired, deleted everything, etc. Still don't have enough room... series 3 GPS. Any idea?
