Apple Remote on Macbook Aluminum (Does it stick?)

I'm just wondering if the apple remote can stick to the aluminum Macbook (Late 2008). I saw on the other forums that it sticks to the old macbook on the top corner of the bezel, but when I tried this to mine it doesn't work.

Have they disabled this feature or they move it to different location? I've tried almost every location on my macbook...

It's... not a feature. It stuck because there are magnets on the bezel...

It does not, sorry. The magnets are a lot more weaker then was the one on the plastics Macbooks.

I see you've got aluminum Macbook too! I guess my remote will stay next to my bed then... =)
