Hi all,

I'm giving a Powerpoint presentation tomorrow on my MBP and was wondering if there's a way to program the Apple remote to act as the ENTER key or the up and down arrow keys in order to click through my animations via remote.

I'm using Powerpoint MS Office 2004.

As far as I know, all I can do with the remote is adjust volume, bring up Front Row, and navigate through Front Row.

Please let me know if you know a way to click through animations remotely!

Thanks!

Hi,

I use it for university presentations all the time. May I recommend Remote Buddy (found here). I actually paid for it too, it's great.

Not sure yet about Leopard compatibility... only upgraded yesterday and all seems ok.

SpaceMagic--thanks a million for that.

RemoteBuddy! What a great name! What a great product!
I installed the 30 day free trial and it already had a template in place for Powerpoint! Awesome!

Can I just add another recommendation for Remote Buddy. I think this is a great little application. I use my mac mini as a 'home theatre' and I use my remote on there, I never connect a keyboard to the mini, I can just use Remote Buddy for everything.

Well worth it.
