Apple Remote won’t wake up AppleTV

My AppleTV Siri remote recently quit waking up my AppleTV when I press the main trackpad button at the top of the remote. If I press any of the bottom 6 buttons it wakes right up. Any ideas what may have caused this? Anyone else experiencing this?

You need to press the TV Button. I noticed this last year when they made the change to TV OS 13. Not sure why they did it, but you can't use the track pad anymore to turn on the TV.

Yeah this was changed a while back, both the Menu and TV buttons wake up the ATV now.
