If you havent noticed, they have removed the cases they wont be compatible with the Verizon iPhone :(

I'm not sure why that is a bad thing or why you would expect anything different...looks like all the iP4 cases on the Apple store are compatible with both. Was there a specific case you were looking for?
 
It absolutely make sense that they would do this. If they hadn't, can you imagine how many returns/complaints they'd be dealing with?
 
I'm not surprised they did this. Apple's "thing" is universal compatibility.

Yes. For a couple weeks now the bumpers have been slightly redesigned to fit the mute switch on both iPhone models. I bought one last week in anticipation of my Verizon phone.

The cable port on the bottom has also been widened to better accommodate 3rd party connectors, too.

Edit: I believe the AT&T bumper has the logo in the center of the package, but the new Universal bumpers now have the "Bumper" logo towards the bottom, as well as the cardboard being more white (than originally grayish white)
