If you havent noticed, they have removed the cases they wont be compatible with the Verizon iPhone
I'm not sure why that is a bad thing or why you would expect anything different...looks like all the iP4 cases on the Apple store are compatible with both. Was there a specific case you were looking for?
I agree, this is a benefit for the consumer, less confusion and less returns because of incompatibility.
It absolutely make sense that they would do this. If they hadn't, can you imagine how many returns/complaints they'd be dealing with?
Is the "BUMPER" case available for order for the Verizon phone yet?
I'm not surprised they did this. Apple's "thing" is universal compatibility.
Yes. For a couple weeks now the bumpers have been slightly redesigned to fit the mute switch on both iPhone models. I bought one last week in anticipation of my Verizon phone.
The cable port on the bottom has also been widened to better accommodate 3rd party connectors, too.
Nice - do you know if these are available at the Apple store - will be near one Today and would like to pick up a few.
Edit: I believe the AT&T bumper has the logo in the center of the package, but the new Universal bumpers now have the "Bumper" logo towards the bottom, as well as the cardboard being more white (than originally grayish white)
Yep. At least at the store I went to (Christiana mall, Newark, DE).
$29.99 for that piece of plastic - Amazing!!
