As someone who used to sell computers back in the day, the extended warranties are major profit areas for stores. I've seen some sales, where the computer is largely being sold at a loss, but they make money up on the extended warranties, and accessories you largely needed to buy, i.e., cables, supplies, etc.

Last weekend i went to very famous chain of electronics in my country and when i asked that guy about neo he said don’t buy it it have a phone chip my friend also said the same thing to me. I felt at the moment why apple opened their own store.
