Sounds like you need to turn off auto brightness.

I think it load apps during resotre icloud
and download stuff that why make it dim itself every 5-10 minutes

now back bright cool

will see how dim they flash again /

If it looks like new and works fine, what makes the difference? I'll take a perfectly fine refurbished phone over a brand new defective one any day. 😉

Refurbished phones have a brand new screen with a brand new battery and are checked out supposedly thoroughly from Apple prior to sending them out

It is how Apple handles it’s warranty. You do not get a new in box retail phone when you surrender a used one.

Maybe try? Settings, Display & Brightness, Auto-Lock, Never

The refurb has a 90 day warranty. Did you X have that many days left?Or any at all?

Refurbished is not 100% better. It is surposed to be EQUAL to a new one.

Just keep the CNC oil off the screen.
