When you have issues with your new 3G phone, do they still give you the "Special" phones in the white boxes or do you have to bring everything that came with your 3G into the store for a replacement?

With the limited supply of 3G phones, are Apple stores equipped with many "Replacement" phones??

If you are within the 14 days at an Apple Store, they may just replace it with a new phone (they may require you to return all the equipment as well, or replace just the phone). Once the 14 days are over, they will either have random phones in the white boxes in the back (some are new, others are refurbished).

There would be noting "special" about the white box phones. At this point they are just new phones that are bulked packed and the same as retail. It costs a lot of money to print a fancy box and included packing/accessories.
