A lot of these stories are just writers trying to make a few bucks by taking some random piece of information and making it into a big thing. Companies adjust production and sales targets all the time due to circumstances.

Of course stories like this affect stock prices so we are basically all doomed

Bloomberg putting out a piece to tank Apple's stock. Then its employees buy up AAPL.

Moreover not sure why Macrumors adding anything about iPhone 14 when that isn't shipping or purchasable until the 'Second half of 2022' which this report has nothing to do with.

I'll chaulk this up as iPhone 13 mini is in great demand ;) hehe.

FCC should be looking into articles like that and how it affects both writers or the company submitting information that leads to pump/dump of stock or options trading volume increases, etc.
