I’ll believe it when I see it. It sounds like Apple wants to eventually reach mini-LED, so I don’t see why they would invest in OLED as a stop-gap measure.
Is the panel QD-OLED (sourced from Samsung) or WOLED (sourced from LG)? QD-OLED is more likely to be affected by burn-in than WOLED.OLED is great BUT FOR burn in. 5 month old Sony TV has severe burn in for CNN chiron/logo. Sony will not warranty cover.
LG OLED panels appear to be better than Samsung’s OLED panels. Unless Samsung is giving SONY inferior panels.sorry to hear that - my seven year old and surely in excess of 10,000 hour running LG has not a single pixel defekt of burn in defekt - regularly every year tested and in case visitors claim that burn in is a an inherent problem of OLED.
Or LocoMotion, perhaps?Obviously, the non-Pro iPads will only get regular Motion. Duh. (Or possibly JellyMotion.)
So basically you want a touch screen MacBook.Apple should try bringing MacOS to the iPad Pro.
That’d be greeeeaaaattttt
Serves you right for watching CNN!OLED is great BUT FOR burn in. 5 month old Sony TV has severe burn in for CNN chiron/logo. Sony will not warranty cover.
At least they tell the truth most of the time as opposed to another “news network”.Serves you right for watching CNN!
The benefits from OLED are far more noticeable than they high refresh 120 fps rate.OLED in 2026.
ProMotion in 2055.
