Reality is he hasn’t had sources since the early 2010s. His leaker most certainly got identified & fired or retired (I’d assume an insider friend of his father’s in that scenario) or went over to Google or Meta many moons ago ago, yet now people inexplicably trust him… when he’s wrong more often than most pundits.

Gurman ain’t it. Hasn’t been for years.
This is just complete nonsense.
Gurman might not *always* be right but to say that he doesn’t have sources is just ridiculous.
He was the first to report on several of those high profile departures back last year, you can’t just make stuff like that up.
He was the first to report Alan Dye was leaving hours before it was officially confirmed, again you can’t just make stuff like that up.

In his Power On newsletter today, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said Apple will have a three-day stretch of product announcements from Monday, March 2 through Wednesday, March 4. In total, he expects Apple to introduce "at least five products."

A week ago, Apple invited selected journalists and content creators to an "Apple Experience" in New York, London, and Shanghai on Wednesday, March 4 at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. At these in-person gatherings, the expectation is that attendees will receive hands-on time with the new products that Apple announces next week.

Given this launch is described as an "Apple Experience," it appears there will not be a traditional Apple Event live stream. Instead, the new products are expected to be unveiled in a series of press releases on the Apple Newsroom website.

A new lower-cost MacBook will "very likely" be one of the new products introduced next week, according to Gurman. Rumored features include a 12.9-inch display, a version of the iPhone 16 Pro's A18 Pro chip, and a variety of fun color options.

Gurman expects the iPhone 17e to debut by the first week of March. The device is expected to have four key upgrades over the iPhone 16e, including an A19 chip, MagSafe, Apple's C1X modem for faster 5G, and Apple's N1 chip for Wi-Fi 7.

Other potential products coming next week include an iPad Air with the M4 chip, an iPad 12 with the A18 chip, a MacBook Air with the M5 chip, and MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. Two new Studio Displays are reportedly in the works too, but Gurman said it might be "overkill" for those to arrive next week.

In any case, it sounds like Apple's next products are just days away. This launch comes after Apple released a second-generation AirTag last month.

Who actually writes these articles? Every product that they described is an existing product that is being updated. Those aren’t new products. SMH. Clickbait

Do you mean the week after next?
It’s not next week, it’s the week after!
You must live outside of the U.S. where the week runs from Monday to Sunday.

In the U.S., Sunday is considered the start of the week, so next week is correct from the perspective of Apple (a U.S. company), Mark Gurman (a U.S. journalist), and Bloomberg (Mark Gurman's U.S.-based employer).

In the Judaic, Christian, and some Islamic traditions, Sunday has been considered the first day of the week. A number of languages express this position either by the name of the day or by the naming of the other days. In Hebrew it is called יום ראשון yom rishon, in Arabic الأحد al-ahad, in Persian and related languages یکشنبه yek-shanbe, all meaning "first".

In Greek, the names of the days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mean "second", "third", "fourth", and "fifth", respectively. This leaves Sunday in the first position of the week count.

I’ll bet anything, seeing as Gurman is purely guessing here, that Apple only release 3 new products, the iPhone 17E and the new cheap MacBook, and new iPad Mini with OLED. All the rest they will announce throughout the year as that is how Apple does it. Bet the MacBook Pro and Studio and new displayed are announced at WWDC. iPhone and any Apple Watch updates in September, and the new redesigned MacBook Pro’s if they come out this year in October.

If the new Home Kit devices are announced this year they will get their own special event.

Reactions: Squuiid
Not looking likely now but, I want my Apple-teeveeeeeeee…
If not, just money for nothing and chicks for free? 🤷‍♂️
Moved by Squuiid's plea, Apple announces an incredible all-in-one 65" TV set inspired by the iMac, with new versions of the Apple TV device, FaceTime camera, and HomePods built-in. Tim also invites Squuiid personally to come and test it at the Apple Experience, all expenses paid.

If Apple releases a budget MacBook that will be a new product, the rest will be updates. There is a difference between “new” and an existing product that has been “updated”. And, to say the budget MacBooks is new is somewhat of a stretch since it will essentially be a stripped down version of an existing product. Just saying….
