The iPhone 6 Plus is the best phone I've ever had.

The only thing I don't like is how slippery it is, managed to drop it on the second day of having it! Scuffed the back a bit but it's okay.

Still, it's the best. For me. :)

this sucks, not only did I not get a 4.3" screen, but have to go with 4.7", and not sure I'll be able to one thumb it, and now I'm waiting for 64GB iPhone 6 4.7" to come in, and Apple is shifting production to make more plus models?????:mad:

The only reason is because they cheapened the 4.7" model and you can only get the best screen, best camera, best battery life with the biggest model. I hate this, absolutely hate this. It's a phablet, not a phone!

That's my problem too. I really don't like cases, but I have to keep it in this silicon jobby just so I feel safe holding it!

Some form of totally transparent super grippy paint I could put along the edges would be ideal ;)

Other than its overall soapiness I love the big beastie!

There are *tons* of clear anti slip paints, such as bathroom installers may use to prevent a tub or other surface from being too slippy. Tons on Amazon, or in Home Depot... just a thought. Though I have my 6 Plus in a silicon case with a belt clip holster, so I look just the right amount of ridiculous! :)

I'm sorry. serenity now, say it five times.

I ordered min from T-Mobile on September 19th. I still have to wait 4 more weeks since my order is still on back order. :(

Actually the plus is a phone. It makes calls and after weeks with it, it's as handy as any phone out there.

Well regardless, my nearest Apple Store is out of the 6 Plus and the 6. Constantly. The demand for these things just be absolutely insane still.

with the amount of bent 6+'s they're gonna start receiving back in the next couple of months, they have no choice but to up the 6+ production in order to have enough for replacements and for sales.

No surprise at all. The 6 Plus is a beast and people will love it. Especially the average user. That screen!

Forget the screen... dat battery!!! :D

I unplug my 6 Plus around 6:15 AM every morning. Heavy usage. Continuous, all day usage. When I go to charge about 10-11 PM, I'm still around 30-40%. This battery is a beast. I just hope it holds up with minimal jailbreak tweaks. ;)

This makes sense.

I love my 6+. Sure it's a little big and takes a few days to get used to, but once you do the larger screen is just amazing.

My old 5 just looks so small and unusable after a few weeks with the 6+. It's practically replaced my iPad Mini for all but sofa browsing as well now, as I never feel the need to take the iPad out anywhere with me.

I can understand people being unsure about such a leap in screen size. I was really worried I'd made the wrong choice until I actually recieved the handset and played around with it. I found that owning an iPad it was really easy to slip into two handed typing without even realising I was doing it. It was natural. Nearly everything else I can do one handed.

Sucks to be me

I finally got to the store to check out the new phones. I went home Sunday and ordered a 6+. My estimated ship date is 11/11.

I ordered a 64GB iPhone 6 space gray opening weekend from AT&T and I also have an OCT 21 - NOV 11 delivery time frame a friend ordered his from Verizon the same day and he got his Oct 6. Something is hokey in River City. Apple's first carrier partner is quoting 5-7wks while the Apple Store s saying 7-10 days.

----------

I'd love to love my 6+ :D but three and a half weeks into my pre-order and still no sign of life... Chop-chop production line ;)

According to rumors out of China, over a week ago, Foxconn was producing over 750,000 iPhone 6's a day with the majority at that time being straight 6's that's not counting what Pegatron was shipping so they have to catch up soon, even with current product redistribution.

I seriously hope Apple continues producing normal sized screens. That 6+ is obscenely big for a phone but not nearly big enough for a tablet. If I can't use it one-handed it's useless as a phone to me.

I tried the 6 briefly at the Apple Store and it seems like it may be just barely within one-handed range for me. I'll test drive again before I buy it. If it's too big I'll happily go for a 5S.

Sorry. Just not digging the whole big a** unmobile phone thing. If you like them, good for you. They're all yours.

I'm sure they will be keeping at least one model with smaller screen for long time. It's really obvious that there's a target group for this. Personally, I really want to get away from having 2 devices (phone & tablet), so the 6+ is just what I need. But it would be really dumb for Apple to consider smaller screens as deprecated.

But to be clear, 3.5" is the perfect size for a phone because you need to be able to use it one-handed.

Good, because I was not able pre-order or and I never buy my phones via the internet. When I got my 5, it was only 2 weeks after the release. Here we are, almost 3 weeks after release and still nothing in my area, for any iPhone 6 or 6+.

I wouldn't be surprised if they upgrade the 5C with the A8 and Touch ID or the latest chip in the future and keep that line going. It would make a great budget phone.

Yup, it might be. Especially given the fact that there's no 6c released. Something similar to iPod - iPhone lines, where the former was always 1 gen behind the latter, technologically.
